1. Introduction

Welcome to Peercels. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform and services. By accessing or using Peercels, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Service Description

Peercels is a peer-to-peer platform that connects individuals who need to ship items (Senders) with travelers who are willing to transport these items (Couriers). Our platform facilitates these connections but is not directly involved in the transportation of items.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Senders are responsible for:

• Accurately describing the items to be shipped
• Ensuring items are legal to ship and do not violate any laws or regulations
• Properly packaging items to prevent damage during transport
• Providing accurate information about pickup and delivery locations
• Paying the agreed-upon fee to the Courier

3.2 Couriers are responsible for:

• Safely transporting items from pickup to delivery location
• Communicating any delays or issues to the Sender
• Verifying the contents of packages to ensure they match the description
• Refusing to transport prohibited items

4. Liability

Liability for all shipped items rests solely with the Sender, not the Courier. By using our service, Senders explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

• The Sender bears full responsibility for the contents of any package sent through our platform
• The Sender is liable for any damages, losses, or legal issues arising from the contents of their package
• If a package contains illegal, dangerous, or prohibited items, the Sender is solely responsible for any resulting consequences
• Peercels and Couriers are not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or other fees associated with the transportation of items
• While Couriers agree to transport items with reasonable care, they are not liable for damage that occurs despite their reasonable efforts

Peercels strongly recommends that Senders obtain appropriate insurance for valuable items.

5. Prohibited Items

Users are prohibited from sending or transporting:

• Illegal substances or items
• Dangerous goods (explosives, flammable materials, etc.)
• Perishable items without proper disclosure and packaging
• Live animals
• Counterfeit goods
• Weapons or weapon parts
• Any items prohibited by local, national, or international law

6. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between users, Peercels will provide a mediation process. However, our ability to resolve disputes is limited, and we encourage users to:

• Communicate clearly with each other
• Document the condition of items before shipping
• Keep all receipts and tracking information

7. Termination

Peercels reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms and Conditions, without prior notice or liability.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of these terms and by maintaining a changelog accessible through our platform.
